Born Again

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:3

 

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever.
1 Peter 1:23

We know that whosoever is born of God sins not; but he that is born of God keeps himself, and that wicked one touches him not.
1 John 5:18

So that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new!
2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, so also we should walk in newness of life.

To be born again, you’ll need to believe, and be baptized.

Baptized

Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, If one is not generated out of water and Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God.
John 3:5

 

And Philip said, If you believe from all the heart, it is lawful. And answering he said, I believe Jesus Christ to be the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both went down into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. But when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip. And the eunuch did not see him any more; for he went his way rejoicing.
Acts 8:37-39

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:38

And now what do you intend? Arise, be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Acts 22:16

And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they asked him to remain some days.

Once baptized, you know are born again, and can know Him.

Believe

Because if you confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
(Rom 10:9)

 

But as many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
John 1:12

He that believes on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him.
John 3:36

Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that you believe on him whom he hath sent.
John 6:29

Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if you wouldst believe, you should see the glory of God?
John 11:40

Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me.
John 14:1

But these are written, that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life through his name.

The Goal

Conformed to the image of His Son

 

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
(Rom 8:29)

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
(1Jn 3:2)

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
(2Co 3:18)

 

Know Jesus Christ

 

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
(Joh 17:3)

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
(1Jn 5:20)

And we have known and have believed the love which God has in us. God is love, and the one abiding in love abides in God, and God in him.
(1Jn 4:16)

 

What it looks like.

 

That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
(Php 1:10-11)

To the end he may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
(1Th 3:13)

That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
(Eph 5:27)

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
(Heb 9:14)

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
